Uwe
Head Mechanic and Owner of Port Douglas Mechanical, Uwe has been involved in mechanical endeavors since 4, while helping his father with race bikes. Originally from Germany, Uwe has happily moved to Australia to continue on his mechanical journey. Having worked with various companies like Mercedes, he now happily works with his little crew in Port Douglas.
Jono
Our own bike Guru, Jono has restored and customised many different bikes, including his own, an 86 FXR. Started under a British engineer restoring bikes for the White Park Museum in WA, such classics as Enfields, Royal Douglases and BMW's, later moving onto road bikes and Harleys. Moved to Port Douglas 10 years ago, and is currently enjoying being back on the tools, and the wonderful tropical lifestyle.
Jono has now expanded to open his own workshop, JJ's Customs, located in the same complex at Unit 3. This is a purely 2 wheeled venutre; however, he still keeps his hands dirty at Port Douglas Mechanical with cars on occasion!
Boss
Boss, our beautiful workshop dog, is without a doubt, boss of the place. With his waggy tail and gorgeous smile, he's a bit of a softie deep down inside. Likes: pats, walks, the beach, tennis balls and Uncle Sandwiches. Dislikes: people who wont pat him!
